The River One is an architectural brand film created for international architecture practice RSH+P, documenting the relationship between human movement, light and large-scale built form within the completed development in Ningbo.
The film combines intimate character moments with expansive architectural imagery, using soft natural light, restrained camera movement and long focal lengths to emphasise scale, material and spatial flow.
Ben Ruffell served as Director of Photography, working closely with director Jem Chen to balance cinematic storytelling with precise architectural representation, ensuring the buildings remained the central visual subject while retaining a strong emotional tone.
The film was produced for online and international promotional use by RSH+P.
