This television commercial for Peugeot and Red Bull features BMX athlete Jaden Leeming in a dark, high-contrast studio environment designed to emphasise motion, speed and impact.

The visual approach focused on strong backlight and atmosphere, using a row of lighting units to silhouette the rider and enhance smoke and particulate in the air, creating depth and separation against the black environment.

High-speed Phantom Flex photography was used for the stunt sequences, capturing action at 1000fps while maintaining the moody, low-key lighting style established in the wider commercial.

Ben Ruffell served as Director of Photography, working closely with director Ryan Heron to balance stylised lighting with extreme high-speed capture requirements.
